Slick Shoes is a skate punk rock band hailing from Antelope Valley, California, USA. The band's name is inspired by the 1985 movie, The Goonies, where "slick shoes" refers to one of the character Data's many gadgets. Formed in 1994, Slick Shoes went on an "indefinite hiatus" before reuniting for their first show back together on March 1, 2008, at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA, USA.
