Warren “Slim” Williams is an American award-winning film composer, actor, singer, and songwriter. He played a pivotal role in forming a band in Montreal, Canada, which achieved national recognition by winning CBC’s Rock Wars (Best Band in Canada) and later, The U.S. talent competition Star Search (Best Band in North America). Slim has performed alongside legendary artists such as Bo Diddley, Ben E. King, and Big Mama Thornton, and has shared the stage with renowned musicians including Smokey Robinson, Oscar Peterson, Daniel Lavoie, The Neville Brothers, and Joe Cocker. As a Musical Director, he has contributed to significant projects such as the Atlanta Olympic Games TV special, the World Basketball Championships in Toronto, and spent five years with the Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival, collaborating with notable figures like Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart, Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, and Joy Behar.
