Slowdive is a shoegaze band that originated in Reading, England, in 1989. The band initially existed until 1995 before reuniting in 2014. The classic lineup features Rachel Goswell on vocals and guitar, Nick Chaplin on bass, Neil Halstead on vocals and guitar, Simon Scott on drums (from 1990 to 1994 and then again from 2014), and Christian Savill on guitar. Throughout their history, they have had three other drummers: Adrian Sell (1989), Neil Carter (1990), and Ian McCutcheon (1994-1995).
