Sluta Leta is a band formed in 1994 by Bengt Liljstad and Jonas Bergkvist in Umeå, Sweden. The name, which means "Stop Searching" in Swedish, was inspired by a scooter rental shop they operated during the summer on the Greek island of Corfu. It was in Corfu that they met the people behind the Mego label, leading to a friendship that resulted in their debut 12" release for Mego in November 1995, followed by releases on Cheap Records, Chocolate Industries, and Uptight. After a few years on hiatus, the band experienced several line-up changes, ultimately resulting in the departure of all original members—Bengt Liljstad, Jonas Bergkvist, Yngwie Moskowich, and Anders Rydberg. The current line-up now consists of Andi Pieper, Ramon Bauer, and Gerhard Potuznik.
