Sly Dunbar was a Jamaican reggae drummer and percussionist, born on May 10, 1952, in Kingston, Jamaica. He was best known as one half of a prolific Jamaican rhythm section and reggae production duo. Sly Dunbar passed away on January 26, 2026, in Jamaica.
