Snog is an Australian industrial trio that formed in 1988 when DJ and art student met Julia and Tim, who had diverse musical interests in electronic body music, ambient, and synth-pop. The group began recording in 1990 but struggled to find a record label. They eventually traveled to Germany, where they secured a record deal. By 1992, Snog had achieved a left-field dancefloor hit with "Corporate Slave" and released their debut album, Lies, Inc.
