Social Climbers was a US new wave band formed in New York City in late 1979. They began their musical journey by performing two shows at the Mudd Club. The band had a brief existence, lasting only a few years. They recorded their sole album at Celebration in NYC between 1980 and 1981, which was released in July 1981.
