Social Lovers is a West Coast music collective made up of DJ Matty P, Megan Doherty, Joe Nunez, Chris Letson, and Ryan Doherty. Formed in high school in 2005, they draw influences from the vibrant sounds of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. Their unique underground sound is shaped by bossa nova, disco, funk, and soft rock, resulting in a signature style they describe as ‘street funk with a splash of class.’ The group relocated to the West Coast, embracing the culture and lifestyle of the region.
