Soft Boys is a psychedelic power pop band hailing from Cambridge, UK. Originally formed in 1976 under the name Maureen and the Meatpackers, the band disbanded in 1981. They reunited in 2001 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album "Underwater Moonlight," which led to the release of their album "Nextdoorland" in 2002. However, they broke up again in 2003. The band's vocalist achieved considerable success as a solo artist following their initial disbandment.
