Solat was a Dutch funk group composed of Dutch-Antillian and Surinam musicians. Some members of the group had previously been part of a funk band in the early 1970s. After leaving that band, they collaborated with a lead singer and released only two singles. Additionally, Solat served as a backing band for other artists.
