**Bio: Jesus Loves Junkies (JLJ)** Jesus Loves Junkies (JLJ) was a band from Tucson, Arizona, formed in late 1994. Their first album was released that same year, and their last album, *The Great Escape From Paradise*, was released in 1998. The band disbanded in 1999. JLJ's name was inspired by Karl Marx's quote regarding religion as the opiate of the masses. The band is best known for their song "Escape From Paradise," which appeared on the 2006 compilation album *Music To Go POSTAL By* for the video game *Postal 2*, helping them gain a cult following nearly a decade after their breakup. Although they planned to create a follow-up album titled *End of Line*, the project was ultimately canceled. Jeff Wambolt, the band's singer, is currently involved in a musical project called Nullborn, with their first album, *Them Burning*, expected to be completed in 2023. Wambolt has also worked on other projects, including Hardware Scarecrow and Father Wormwood & Faded Satans. On February 24, 2023, a fan in contact with Jeff confirmed that a new JLJ
