Some Now Are is a band that originated in Blackburn in 1981, initially formed as a six-piece. They gained recognition in the northern post-punk and early synthwave/electro scenes. In 1983, they released a single produced by a notable figure in the music industry. Throughout the 1980s, Some Now Are supported various artists on the iconic Manchester live circuit. After a hiatus, the band reformed in 2017 with original vocalist Andrew Fishwick-Mahon, accompanied by Janet Fishwick-Mahon, Jackie Everett, Zander Sumner, and Phil Llewellyn. They redefined their sound, resumed live performances, and recorded new material with producer Paul Stewart Davies. Their 2020 release features the track "Begging You (Original Mix)," also produced by the same producer. For band contact and music sales, visit Some Now Are's Instagram.
