Sonia Lopez is a Puerto Rican percussionist known for her skills on the congas, as well as being a singer and orchestra leader. She created her own bands, including Sonia Lopez Y Sus Estrellas with Radamés Romero, which later evolved into the Tremendón Combo. Additionally, she formed La Gran Banda with Bobby Quesada. Sonia is the daughter of an unspecified individual and the mother of Deddie Romero. She was married to Radamés Romero, who passed away in 1975.
