The group consists of Rob Sonic, who is a former Def Jux solo artist and part of Hail Mary Mallon alongside Aesop Rock, Fred Ones, Eric M.O., and DJ Jun / Preservation, known for projects like Dr. Yen Lo and collaborations with Mos Def. Active from 1998 to 2004, Sonic Sum made their mark in the hip hop scene during their years together.
