He is recognized for famous compositions such as "Help Me," "Eyesight To The Blind," and "Don't Start Me Talkin'." Notably, he should not be confused with an earlier acoustic artist famous for "Good Morning, School Girl." Miller adopted the name of his sharecropper stepfather, Jim Miller.
