Sonny Terry was a blind American blues harmonica player and vocalist, born on October 24, 1911, in Greensboro, Georgia. He primarily played in the Piedmont blues style and collaborated with various folk musicians throughout his career. Terry is best known for his performances as a duo with guitarist. He passed away on March 11, 1986, in Mineola, New York.
