Sore Throat was a grindcore and crust punk band formed in 1987 in Huddersfield and Birmingham, England. They are recognized as one of the earliest proponents of the grindcore subgenre known as "noisecore" or "noisegrind." In the early 2000s, the band was revived as a power electronics and harsh noise project by one of its members. However, they have since returned to performing crust and grindcore music.
