Soukous Stars is a Paris-based supergroup formed in 1989, featuring rhythm guitarist Lokassa Ya Mbongo, vocalists Ballou Canta, Yondo Kusala, Dally Kimoko, Shimita, Zitany Neil, and bassist Ngouma Lokito. One of their most notable releases is the album Megamix Vol. 1, which was a significant soukous record released in the same year.
