Soul Family Sensation is a musical project formed in 1989 by Johnny Male, Guy Batson, and Jhelisa Anderson, after Male was introduced to Chicago house music. The group's debut album, "New Wave," received acclaim from the British press, and they achieved their first club and chart success with the single "I Don't Even Know If I Should Call You Baby." A second album was released without Anderson.
