Soulwax is a Belgian band from Ghent, formed around brothers David Dewaele and Stephen Dewaele. The current lineup also includes Igor Cavalera and Stefaan Van Leuven. They gained recognition with their album "Much Against Everyone's Advice" but later shifted their focus to other projects, including 2manydjs, which was initially known as The Fucking Dewaele Brothers and The Flying Dewaele Brothers. Their album "As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt. 2" was named the best popular music album of 2002 by The New York Times. The Dewaele brothers have also hosted a show on Belgian television called Alter8 and created the Radio Soulwax channel. They established their own studio and label, both named Deewee.
