**Bio: Spanish Ran** Born in the South Bronx of New York City, Spanish Ran had a strong ambition and determination to make his mark in the music industry. Growing up, he was an avid music fan, frequently purchasing albums, particularly those from Roc A Fella, to see the names of influential executives on the back covers. He attended the Institute of Audio Research (I.A.R.) to pursue a career as an Audio Engineer. During this time, he interned at a show called "The Round Table," hosted by Lenny S, who was the VP of A&R at Def Jam Records and is currently the VP at RocNation. Lenny S recognized Randy's potential and brought him under his wing, allowing him to intern at Def Jam in 2010. While at Def Jam, Randy contributed to A&R coordination for notable artists such as Fabolous, Ne-Yo, The Dream, and the collaborative album "Watch the Throne" by Jay-Z and Kanye West. Through hard work and dedication, he transitioned from Def Jam to RocNation, where he secured an A&R position and played a role in the production of Jay-Z's "Magna Carta" album and Fabolous's "The Young OG Project."
