Split Enz was a rock band from New Zealand, founded in late 1972 under the name "Split Ends" by two individuals. The band changed its name to Split Enz at the beginning of 1974. They achieved significant recognition, with eight songs listed in the APRA Top 100 New Zealand Songs of All Time, more than any other band. Split Enz played its final show on December 4, 1984, in Auckland, New Zealand. The band has reunited several times for various occasions, including benefit concerts in 1986 and 2009, as well as reunion tours in 1993, 2006, and 2008. A further set of reunion dates in Australia and New Zealand is planned for 2026.
