Stabat Stable was an early 1980s collaboration between Jean-Luc Aimé, Phil Légeron, and Jean-Luc Boinot. Their initial recordings were unclassifiable "cold-wave" experimental/electronic music, reminiscent of the left-field style associated with RIO, similar to the work of This Heat. Their debut release, a 12" mini-LP produced by Atem, came out in 1982. In 1985, they released a further collection of new-wave electro-pop on cassette.
