Stan Butcher was a British jazz pianist, composer, arranger, and bandleader, born on January 26, 1920, in London, England. He worked with notable musicians such as Joe Daniels from 1947 to 1948, Freddy Randall in 1951, Bernie Stanton in 1951, Geoff Sowden in 1953, Jack Newman in 1954, and Stan Reynolds during the 1970s. Butcher led his own groups in various periods, specifically in 1949-1950, 1952, and throughout the 1960s. He passed away in 1987.
