Stanley Wilson was an American musical conductor, arranger, and film composer, born on November 25, 1917, in New York City, New York. He passed away on July 12, 1970, at the age of 52 in Aspen, Colorado. Wilson was a prolific music supervisor, orchestrator, arranger, and stock music composer, contributing to over 200 TV series and more than 25 films. He co-composed the Revue/Universal Studios TV jingle and composed the theme music for the first season of M Squad, for which he won the 1959 Grammy Award for Best Soundtrack Album and Background Score from Motion Picture or Television.
