Starfuckers is an Italian band that initially gained recognition for their unique sound, which was inspired by '80s post-Stooges noise and New York City no wave. After their initial release, the band changed their name but returned to the original name in 2008. They developed a distinctive style influenced by avant-garde composers such as Iannis Xenakis, John Cage, Bruno Maderna, and Karlheinz Stockhausen, while maintaining their own raw attitude and personality. The band has been on an indefinite break since 2019.
