Starshooter was a punk band from Lyon, France, active in the late 1970s and early 1980s. They disbanded in 1982 after their final show at the Palais d'Hiver in Lyon, which marked the end of their French tour for the album "Pas Fatigué." The band originated as a high school group called "Protostega Cryptochleidus," named after a dinosaur, featuring members Kent, Jello, and Phil. Following a successful performance at a party at Lycée Saint Exupéry on June 6, 1975, alongside Electric Callas and Marie and Les Garçons, they decided to rename themselves "Starshooter." They integrated Mickey on bass, a close friend, and began composing their own songs.
