Steeleye Span is a British electric folk band that was formed in 1969. The current members of the band include Maddy Prior, Liam Genockey, Julian Littman, Benji Kirkpatrick, Andrew Sinclair, Jessie May Smart, and Roger Carey. Throughout its history, Steeleye Span has seen several former members, including Ken Nicol, Rick Kemp, Peter Knight, Bob Johnson, Nigel Pegrum, Tim Hart, Tim Harries, Gay Woods, Ashley Hutchings, Martin Carthy, John Kirkpatrick, Terl Bryant, Michael Gregory, Terry Woods, Mark Williamson, Chris Staines, and Pete Zorn, who was with the band from 2009 to 2015.
