Stefano Pilia, born in Genoa in 1978 and residing in Bologna since 1995, began his musical journey in the punk and rock scene, playing guitar and double bass. Over time, he has shifted his focus to creating texture and droning sound forms, primarily using guitar, loops, field recordings, and other acoustic sound sources. Recently, he has also ventured into sound installation projects.
