Stella A. Levitt (born May 24, 1930, in Los Angeles) is an American jazz singer known for her contributions to the genre. Early in her career, she toured with Lionel Hampton and was married to drummer Al Levitt. Together, they recorded the album *We Are the Levitts* in 1968 for ESP-Disk, featuring guest musicians such as Chick Corea, Ronnie Cuber, and Teddy Kotick, along with their 13-year-old son Sean on guitar. From 1975, the Levitts, who had seven children, lived in Paris and performed at various festivals. Al Levitt produced their album *Stella Levitt* for Polydor, recorded in France in 1980, which included contributions from Jacques Pelzer, Riccardo Del Fra, and Dennis Luxion. In the 1980s, they made recordings in Belgium with musicians Jean-Pierre Gabler, Michel Herr, and Freddie Deronde. In 1988, they released the album *Dearly Beloved*. In the 1990s, Stella appeared on an album by her son Sean Levitt, which featured John Betsch, Alain Jean-Marie, and Gilles Naturel.
