Stephanie Cooke is a talented singer and songwriter from Newark, New Jersey. She began her musical journey at a young age, singing in church and impressing parishioners with her powerful voice. At just 9 years old, she performed "I Made A Vow," and by 15, she had written her first song. Although it took a decade for her to write her first non-gospel song, her early influences remained integral to her style. Stephanie credits her vocal inspirations to various artists, while her songwriting influences lean towards other notable musicians. Her professional music career took off when she entered a production studio, aiming to win studio time as a prize for a talent show she was organizing. After an impromptu a cappella session, she was signed to a production deal. However, the next two and a half years were unproductive, as the company did not release any of her songs. This setback fueled her determination, leading her to reach out to numerous publishing companies. Her persistence paid off, and she soon began collaborating with various artists and producers. Throughout her career, Stephanie has worked as a songwriter for notable artists, contributing to tracks like "Every Little Bit Hurts" and "I Like." She has also created remixes and provided background vocals for several musicians.
