Stephen Barton is a British film, television, and video game composer, born on September 17, 1982, in Preston, England. He has lived and worked in Los Angeles since 2001. Barton's notable works include composing for Apex Legends, Star Trek Picard (season 3), Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Multiversus, Titanfall, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, 12 Monkeys, and Unlocked. In addition to composing, he is also a conductor and pianist. As a child, he sang with a group, touring the world and appearing on more than a dozen albums. He began his composing career at the age of 19 as an assistant to a well-known composer, contributing to projects such as Shrek, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Kingdom of Heaven.
