Stephen Mallinder is a British singer and musician, born on January 1, 1955, in Sheffield, England. He is a founding member of a notable music group and, in 1995, relocated to Australia, where he spent a decade. In 1996, he co-founded another project with Pete Carrol. Mallinder holds a PhD in Philosophy, having presented his thesis titled "Movement - Journey Of The Beat" at Murdoch University in Western Australia. Since returning to England, he has lectured at the University of Brighton and has become a member of another notable group.
