Steppenwolf was a highly influential hard rock band that originated in the United States and Canada, based in Los Angeles, California, from 1968 to 1976. The band achieved worldwide record sales exceeding 25 million copies and boasts eight gold albums. They also had twelve singles on the Billboard Hot 100, with six reaching the Top 40, including three that made it into the Top 10.
