Steve 'Silk' Hurley is a DJ, producer, songwriter, and record label executive hailing from Chicago, Illinois. He established his label and production company in 1988 and founded additional entities in 1989 and 1990 with his then-manager. Since 2005, he has served as the CEO of a company, known by an alias. He was also involved in a vocal project during the late 1990s. Steve is married.
