Steve Young was an American country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist, born on July 12, 1942, in Newnan, Georgia. He passed away on March 17, 2016, in Nashville, Tennessee. Young is best known for his song "Seven Bridges Road," featured on his albums "Rock Salt And Nails," "Seven Bridges Road," and "No Place To Fall." He was a pioneer of the Country Rock, Americana, and alternative country genres, and played a crucial role in the 'outlaw movement' that supported the careers of artists such as Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams, Jr.
