Streetmark is a progressive rock group from Düsseldorf, formed in 1968. The band has a history that began in the late 1960s and is interconnected with various other bands from the industrial Rhineland. Over the years, Streetmark has experienced numerous changes in style and personnel. Their 1975 album, Nordland, featured a frontman who later left to form his own band. Following this, vocalist and synthesizer player took the lead on their second album, Eileen, incorporating elements reminiscent of Kraftwerk. After the death of Riechmann in 1978, the group was reduced to a trio, with the remaining members shifting towards a mellower pop sound, led by a synthesizer and vocal frontman.
