Studio Rio is a project created by the Grammy-winning German production team of siblings Frank and Christian Berman, known as the Berman Brothers. In July 2014, they released "Studio Rio Presents: The Brazil Connection," an album that featured original multi-track masters mixed by multi-Grammy-winning engineer Jerry Boys. The album utilized advanced separation technology to extract classic vocal and instrumental performances from artists such as Bill Withers, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Dave Brubeck, Mel Tormé, and Sly & the Family Stone. These performances were then combined with new studio backing tracks from an all-star lineup of Brazilian musicians, including Roberto Menescal and Marcos Valle. Additionally, their rendition of "It's Your Thing" by The Isley Brothers was featured on "One Love, One Rhythm: The 2014 FIFA World Cup Official Album."
