Sukpatch is a trio formed by small-town Midwesterners Chris Heidman, Stephen Hermann, and Stephen Cruze. They are known for creating a unique blend of lo-fi pop, samples, and hip-hop beats. The group began recording songs at home using inexpensive equipment in the early '90s and has signed with labels such as Slabco, Grand Royal, and Moshi Moshi. Sukpatch is recognized as pioneers of the lo-fi bedroom pop sound.
