Sunshine was a psych pop band from Los Angeles, California, originally formed as a duo. The group later expanded to include a rhythm section with a bassist and a drummer. They signed with a record label and released their debut album in 1967. Over the next two years, Sunshine scored three hit singles on the U.S. singles chart before disbanding after their third album, which was a self-titled effort released in 1968. Members Sims and Bregante later provided backing for another artist.
