Superfriends is a project group comprised of various session and studio musicians from the fusion jazz genre. The group features different selections of artists who have collaborated on releases by notable musicians such as guitarist Barry Finnerty, saxophonist John Stubblefield, pianists Jorge Dalto and Kunihiko Sugano, keyboardist Mark Gray, and bassist Teruo Nakamura. Nakamura also produced most of the Superfriends recordings.
