Supreme Jubilees is an American gospel-soul group hailing from Fresno, California. The group was formed by two families: brothers Joe and Dave Kingsby, along with Dave's son David Kingsby Jr., and keyboardist Leonard Sanders, who was joined by his brothers Phillips (drummer), Tim (bassist), and Melvin (tenor). The Sanders family grew up singing together in the Witness of Jesus Christ church in Fresno, where their father, Marion, served as pastor. Guitarist Larry Price, who was not part of either family, completed the lineup. Supreme Jubilees recorded their sole album in 1980, which was released on the group’s own label.
