Surprize is an Italian band that originated in Bologna in November 1980, initially known as "The Surprize." Their early musical influences included Ska and 2-Tone, which later evolved into Dub and eventually more guitar-oriented dance music. The band's debut single, "Nu-clear Dance," was released in 1981, followed by "The Secret Lies In Rhythm" in 1982, and "In Movimento" on Factory Benelux in 1984. Surprize disbanded in 1984.
