Sven Grünberg (born November 24, 1956) is an Estonian composer and musician known for his ambient and progressive rock works, particularly his meditative organ and electronic compositions influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. He gained recognition for his collaborations with film director Olav Neuland, providing soundtracks for many of his films. In the 1970s, Grünberg led the progressive rock band Mess, which he founded in January 1974 with Härmo Härm. Despite numerous live performances, the band did not release any studio albums due to conflicts between their musical style and Soviet ideology. In 1996, Grünberg released a compilation of surviving Mess recordings, followed by a fully remastered album in 2004. Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Estonian Institute of Buddhism.
