Swamp Children is a band that originated in Manchester in 1980, featuring core members Ann Quigley (vocals), Tony Quigley (sax and bass), John Kirkham (guitar), Ceri Evans (keyboards and bass), Cliff Saffer (sax), and Martin Moscrop (drums). The group later evolved into a well-regarded Latin, jazz, and funk outfit, and both iterations of the band recorded for Factory Records.
