Swanasa, also known as Asa Swan, is a sound artist based in Budapest who operates under her official name in everyday healthcare. Her artistic practice explores all aspects of sound art, utilizing both analog and digital techniques, as well as various hybrid forms. She holds a diploma in Electronic Music and Media Art from the University of Pécs, where she integrated forest sounds into her digital and modular systems to create innovative compositions. Recently, as swanasa, she has released tracks on labels such as Telekom Electronic Beats and Selected Sounds and Exiles. Additionally, her live project Asas, in collaboration with Sebastian Sas, has produced works under her moniker swanasa and her real name, with releases on the Dióbél label.
