Sweet and Innocent was a music duo comprised of Rubye James and Linda Royston, who were part of Ron and Sari Bledsoe’s short-lived Active imprint. This label operated out of a storefront on Chelsea Avenue and drew talent from the nearby Manassas High School. Alongside Sweet and Innocent, the roster included groups such as The Epics, First Company, and The Memphis Mustangs, all of whom have since faded into obscurity.
