Sweet Cream was a funk and soul vocal group hailing from Detroit, Michigan, comprised of three sisters: Gloria Dehaven Ridgeway (born June 1955), Esther Lene Ridgeway (born June 7, 1959, died February 22, 2003), and Gracie Mae Ridgeway (born June 16, 1957, died April 19, 2006). The sisters formed their singing group at a young age, singing a diverse range of music including Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Hip Hop, Classical, and Country Western, with a focus on Soul and R&B. They released their debut album, "Sweet Cream And Other Delights," in 1978 on Shadybrook Records. The sisters later appeared on the album "It's Just The Way I Feel," credited as The Ridgeways. Additionally, they became highly sought after as session singers, providing background vocals for various artists under the name The Ridgeway Sisters.
