Sweet Thursday was a short-lived English rock band that emerged in the late 1960s. The group featured notable musicians, including renowned session keyboard player Nicky Hopkins, who had collaborated with iconic acts such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Jeff Beck. Folk guitarist and singer Alun Davies, who frequently worked with Cat Stevens, was also a member, alongside singer, guitarist, and composer Jon Mark, known for his later work in Mark-Almond. Other members included drummer Harvey Burns and bassist, woodwinds player, and songwriter Brian Odgers. Sweet Thursday can be seen as a minor example of the "supergroup" phenomenon.
