Symarip is a musical group formed in the mid-sixties by seven musicians. Initially known as The Bees, they gained recognition by supporting Prince Buster on a UK tour in 1967. Shortly after, the band was signed to President Records, changed their name to The Pyramids, and achieved UK chart success with their hit 'Train Tour To Rainbow City'. Throughout the late sixties and early seventies, the group worked tirelessly, releasing music under various aliases, most notably Symarip and Seven Letters. In 1971, they relocated to Germany, where they performed reggae and Afro-rock under the name Zubaba.
